Smile Life – The Life Simulation Card Game
Be born, grow up, succeed... and lose everything in one turn!
Smile Life is a card game that invites you to live an entire existence in less than an hour. From your birth to your retirement, you'll have to make crucial choices: pursue extensive studies to become a surgeon or drop everything to become a temp? Get married, have children, buy a house, or collect flings and travels? But beware, life is full of surprises and your opponents will show you no mercy.
The goal of the game? Accumulate as many "Smile" points as possible by multiplying personal and professional successes before the deck runs out.
A life mechanic full of twists and turns
The gameplay is fluid and based on logical card combinations:
-
Career and Studies: Pass your exams to access the best jobs. Each profession brings specific income and benefits, but some are riskier than others!
-
Love Life and Family: Find love, get married (or not) and start a family. Each life stage earns you Smiles, provided you can manage the ups and downs.
-
The "Dirty Tricks": This is the spice of the game! Send a burnout, divorce, or layoff to your opponents to slow their ascent to happiness.
-
Unexpected Events: Accidents, inheritances, or casino winnings... as in real life, luck can change at any time.
Why Smile Life has become a phenomenon?
-
Humour and Irony: The game deals with life stages with biting irony that immediately sparks discussions and laughter around the table.
-
High Replayability: No two lives are alike. From one game to the next, you can try to become a solitary scholar or a partying jet-setter.
-
Highly Interactive: You don't play alone in your corner. You monitor the success of others to better sabotage them at the opportune moment.
-
Easy to Learn: The rules are intuitive because they mirror the real-life cycle, allowing players from all backgrounds to come together.
