MicroMacro Crime City: The Visual Investigation and Observation Game
Welcome to Crime City, the city where crime never sleeps!
Open the box and unroll the immense 75 x 110 cm map. At first glance, it's a bustling black and white city teeming with details. But upon closer inspection, you'll discover crime scenes, daring robberies, and well-kept secrets. In MicroMacro, the entire city is a crime scene frozen in time... and space.
The concept? You must follow the journey of a character (victim or culprit) through the city by finding them in different places and at different times on the same map.
How to become the best detective in the city?
-
The Map with a Thousand Details: The city is drawn with surgical precision. Every small character has a story.
-
The Investigation Envelopes: Choose a case. A first card gives you the starting point (e.g., "Mr. X's body was found in front of the town hall").
-
Go Back in Time: Look for Mr. X elsewhere on the map to understand where he came from, who he met, and who eventually murdered him.
-
Total Cooperation: Everyone scrutinizes the map at the same time. You point, discuss, and develop theories. The provided magnifying glass will help you not miss any crucial clues.
Why is MicroMacro a masterpiece?
-
The "Wow" Effect: The moment you understand how a crime was committed simply by following a footprint or a stolen object is incredibly satisfying.
-
Zero Rules (or almost): You unfold the map, read the first investigation, and play. It's one of the most accessible games in the world.
-
Scalable: Investigations range from "very easy" (to warm up) to "very complex" (for detail experts).
-
Unique Graphic Style: The black and white "Doodle" look is not only elegant but also brilliantly hides clues everywhere.
Technical Characteristics:
-
Number of players: 1 to 4 players (ideal for 2 or 3 to see the map well).
-
Age: From 10-12 years old (some scenes are a bit "risqué" for younger children).
-
Game duration: 15 to 45 minutes per investigation.
