You're Pushing It! – A Party Game of Bluffing and Estimation
The "Perudo" of questions: Will you know when to stop?
In Là T'abuses!, you don't need to be a general knowledge genius. All the answers are numbers. The goal? To make an estimate and force the next player to go even higher... until someone cracks and shouts: "Là t'abuses!" (You're overdoing it!).
The concept? A question is read (e.g.: "How many pressable buttons are on a PS5 controller?"). The first player gives a number. The next player must either say a higher number, or accuse their neighbor of exceeding reality.
Key points of the game:
-
The Pressure Mounts: The higher the bids, the greater the risk of "snapping" and saying anything. That's where bluffing comes in!
-
"Duck" Points: If you lose a challenge (because you overdid it or wrongly accused someone), you take the card. Each card shows between 2 and 6 "duck heads."
-
Here, we don't want to win: The goal is to have the fewest Duck points at the end of the 10 rounds. The biggest loser is named the Idiot (or the Goose) of the game.
-
Tactical Variants: The box includes two variants:
-
"You're overdoing it" : To punish bluffers even more severely.
-
"Spot On" : To reward those who find the exact number.
-
Why it's the banger for your next parties?
-
Inclusive and Fun: Everyone has a chance, because the questions are often so unusual that no one knows the exact answer.
-
Ultra-Portable: The "Pocket" box (card deck size) slips anywhere: picnic, train, cafe terrace.
-
Zero Downtime: Games last 15 minutes, ideal for back-to-back rematches.
-
Big Table: Up to 10 people can play, which is rare for such a compact game.
