Insider – A Party, Bluffing, and Deduction Game
Are we truly free in our decisions?
Insider is a party game that questions our free will. While the group tries to solve a quiz to find a secret word, one person among you already knows the answer: the Insider. Their role is to secretly manipulate the discussion to guide others to victory without ever getting caught.
The concept? A 5-minute race against time where each question can reveal a clue... or a culprit.
How does a game unfold?
-
Role Distribution: A Game Master (GM), an Insider, and citizens.
-
The Quiz: The GM has players guess a secret word. Players ask closed questions (Yes/No). The Insider, who knows the word, discreetly helps the group.
-
The Outcome: If the word is found, the group must debate: who was too relevant? Who guided the thinking a little too quickly?
-
The Vote: If the Insider is unmasked, the citizens win. If they manage to remain incognito or accuse an innocent person, they win!
Why choose Insider according to players?
-
Addictive and Fast: With games lasting about 15 minutes, rematches naturally follow.
-
Japanese Minimalism: A very small box that contains everything needed (cards, hourglass, tokens). Perfect for travel or impromptu aperitifs.
-
Psychology and Interaction: It's not just a word game; it's a game about how we influence each other.
-
"Black" Variant: For those who want more spice, there's an Insider Black version with more complex roles and themes.
