Akropolis - The Strategic and Vertical Tile-Laying Game

In Akropolis, you are an architect in the heart of ancient Greece. Your mission: design the most harmonious city by arranging residential districts, temples, markets, and gardens. But be warned, ground space is limited! To maximize your points and outdo your rivals, you will have to build upwards. The higher a district is, the more points it earns.

The goal of the game? Create the most prestigious city by skillfully combining district types and multiplying their value using the corresponding plazas (stars).

A "Draft" and Layering Mechanic

The game shines with its simplicity that hides true tactical depth:

• Tile Selection: On your turn, choose a "triple hexagon" tile from the river. The first one is free, subsequent ones cost precious stones.

• The Art of Construction: Place your tiles to expand your city on the ground, or stack them on already placed tiles. Each higher level increases the value of your districts (1 point at level 1, 2 points at level 2, etc.).

• The 5 Thematic Districts: Each district type has its own scoring rule (houses must be grouped, markets isolated, temples surrounded...).

• The Star Multiplier: A district is worth nothing without its "Plaza" (stars). If you have 10 valuable districts but 0 stars, your score will be $10 \times 0 = 0$. Balance is key!

• Rules in 2 minutes: The concept is immediately understood. It's the typical "easy to learn, hard to master" game.

• Verticality: Unlike Kingdomino or Carcassonne, 3D completely changes the game's readability. Sacrificing a ground district to go up a level is a constant dilemma.
