Agent Avenue - Duel, Bluff, and Agent Recruitment
Bluff your opponent to control the streets
In Agent Avenue, you face a rival in a discreet but fierce struggle for influence. This two-player game is based on a simple card-sharing mechanic, but hides a formidable psychological depth. Can you guess which card your opponent is desperately trying to get?
The goal of the game? Accumulate the most points by collecting sets of objects and agents while avoiding the penalty cards your opponent will try to pass off to you.
How to play Agent Avenue?
The heart of the game lies in the art of the proposal:
-
I lay it down, you choose: On your turn, you draw two cards. You place one face up and the other face down in front of your opponent.
-
The dilemma: Your opponent must choose which pile they take. Is the hidden card an incredible bonus or a trap designed to make them lose points?
-
Collecting clues: The retrieved cards are placed in front of you to form majorities. Each type of object (watches, files, briefcases) scores points according to precise collection rules.
-
Constant tension: Since you know one of the two cards and your opponent doesn't know the other, each turn becomes a real duel of glances and bluff.
