Perspectives – Inquiry, Collaboration, and Shared Deduction
Truth is just a matter of perspective!
In Perspectives, you don't play against the game, but with your partners to piece together a fragmented criminal puzzle. The concept is brilliant: each player has clues (photos, reports, plans) that others don't see. To understand what happened, you'll need to accurately describe your evidence without ever showing your cards. It's a true test of communication and listening.
The goal of the game? To connect the clues and answer the final questions to successfully close the investigation.
A "blind" investigation mechanic
The gameplay is based on verbal exchange and sharing information:
-
Asymmetrical information: You hold crucial details that your teammates don't. A license plate, a time on a watch, a suspicious glance... anything can be the key to the mystery.
-
Forbidden to show: This is the heart of the challenge! You must describe what you see. This constraint creates a delightful tension and forces careful observation.
-
Investigations in three acts: Each scenario is divided into several phases. The further you advance, the more the information overlaps, transforming apparent chaos into a clear truth.
-
High immersion: The material consists of realistic documents that make you feel like real inspectors around an operating table.
Why will Perspectives fascinate your players?
-
Pure cooperation: This is one of the rare investigation games where interaction is constant. No one can stay in their corner; victory depends on the clarity of your explanations.
-
Accessibility and depth: The rules are explained in two minutes, but the scenarios (ranging from theft to political intrigue) require deep thought.
-
Zero "Leader Effect": Since information is distributed among everyone, no single player can control the entire game. Every voice is essential.
-
Three major investigations: The box contains several complete case files, offering hours of gameplay and passionate theorizing.
