Balconia – The 3D Box Building Duel

The building where you are rival architects!

In Balconia, neighborhood life is a permanent challenge. Everyone has their demands: the musician wants space, the quiet person wants a nap, and cat lovers collect felines on every floor. In this unique game, you will physically build a building block by block (a 5x5 grid) directly into the game structure.

The aim of the game? Optimize the placement of balconies on your side of the building to achieve your objectives, while being careful not to give too much advantage to your opponent who is building the opposite side!

A brilliant "I Split, You Choose" mechanic

The game is based on constant interaction and agonizing choices:

• Block Splitting: One player splits the available blocks into two lots, and the other chooses first. This is the ultra-efficient "I cut, you choose" mechanic that guarantees perfect balance and constant tension.

• 3D Construction: You actually stack balcony blocks and door blocks. The building comes to life before your eyes, creating a vertical puzzle where every level counts.

• Neighborhood Scoring: To score points, you must align or connect elements according to the inhabitants' wishes. This is reminiscent of the finesse of Château Combo for managing combinations and majorities.

• Double-Sided: You only see your side of the building, but your actions directly influence the structure of the opponent's side. A great move for you could be a boon for the other... or a complete blockage!
