Alice is Missing – The Silent SMS Narrative Mystery Game

Alice is Missing tells the story of the disappearance of Alice Briarwood, a high school student from the small town of Silent Falls. You play as her friends or relatives. For 90 minutes, no one speaks aloud. All communication takes place via a messaging app on your phones. In a subdued atmosphere, accompanied by a dedicated soundtrack, you will exchange clues, share your fears, and uncover hidden secrets.

The goal of the game? To discover what happened to Alice before the countdown ends, while developing the relationships between your characters.

A total immersion mechanic

• The Soundtrack (Timer): The game is punctuated by a 90-minute YouTube video that serves as a timer and plays evolving atmospheric music.

• Event Cards: At certain precise moments (80', 60', 45'...), players draw cards that trigger twists: a discovery in the forest, a disturbing rumor, an anonymous message...

• The GM's Role (Game Master): There isn't really one. One player facilitates the game, but everyone plays an active character.

• The Power of Silence: Not speaking creates real tension. You anxiously await a reply to a message, you create secret discussion groups... The line between game and reality becomes blurred.
